First Post!
My name is Jessica and you will always know when I write because I am writing in green! My favorite color is green and has been since early on in high school. Green makes me think of trees. Trees make me think of aliens. Aliens that grow out of the ground from a somehow natural reaction. I hope that by this blog, you and others will be inspired to seek God in all His wonder. If you do not know Him personally, there is no judgement here. I know you may have heard that before, but I want you to understand that there is a difference between "Christians" and Christ-followers" - Christ hung out with people who were labeled as 'undesirable'. Christians hang out with each other. If the term "Christian" mean "Christ-followers" in Latin, shouldn't that mean that those two types of people should be one in the same? Yes, but unfortunately, it is not. Most of the people who claim our faith these days don't really know anything about what they say they believe, other than the fact that they believe in God. Believing in God does not necessarily make you a Christian as much as standing in a garage makes you a car. Believing in God is not what changes a true "Christian" - it's the relationship founded with God that makes you a Christian. What makes you a Christ-follower is when you learn the teachings of Jesus Christ and try daily to refine yourself to be more like Him. It's tough, it ain't easy, but that's the great thing about the Lord: He has love and mercy for those who love Him and show mercy to others! I hope that throughout this blog, from here until after I am already gone, you r thirst is quenched, your burden is lifted, and any hole in your heart is satisfied by the relationship you have established with the Lord through His love.
Hey! Hey! Hey! My favorite color is yellow like the sunshine! From now on when I, BROOKE, post something, this is what it will look like.
Being new to the world of blogging I can't promise that my posts will always make perfect sense because they may sound good in my head but confusing on screen. However, I can promise to be an ear. My whole purpose for being apart of this blog is to listen. To YOU! To let you know that you are not alone in your struggles and most of all, that there is a Savior willing to carry every burden for you. Jesus Christ shows me beauty daily that I could never see if my heart weren't open to His hope and peace. I work to be a disciple above any other label. I want to live as Jesus did during his time on earth and I know I will make mistakes but God's mercy guides me through it all! I pray my posts can offer you encouragement and excitement about following the Lord of Lords!!!
What is up peeps? So yea, My name is BYRON and all of my posts will be in BLUE. Dont expect any of my posts to be normal or alike in any ways. im very spontaneous and quite frankly, a little bit CrAzY!!. Anyways, i love Jesus Christ and my mission through out this blog is to brighten the lives of many and show that no matter your situation, there is ALWAYS hope. There is a light at the end of every tunnel. So yea i could go on forever but i dont like to bore people. I guess thats why im part of this blog. Now i can express God's great love, in all the ways that he has provided me to be able to, in little bits at a time. Always read my posts twice to make sure you catch everything because i tend to say a lot. Just saying.... To sum things up.... my name is Byron, im a clown, and my posts are going to be encouraging, funny, and insightful... ALL at the same time. :)
