Hello everyone,
As i sit here at my desk studying for a midterm tommorow, i started to think about prayer.  i prayed that God would help me to remember the material that i am studying.

It made me think of how prayer works.  sometimes people think that they can ask God to help them do well on a test and never study or put any work in themselves. well as great as God is he is not going to just make that happen.  when we ask God to help us with a situation, we have to do our part as well.  this is the same for our relationship with God.  we ask him to save us and forgive us of our sins.  yes, he will do that, but we have to do our part too.  we have to do our best to live our lives as Christ-like as possible. we will make mistakes but He is a very forgiving God.
